  1. Honestly, I think you are much too generous – I rate this book 1/5 at the most! 👎
I completely agree, the play format was extremely frustrating, but overall the most disappointing element was the complete change of characterisation and personality 😔
I personally feel that Harry was a complete jerk to Albus, and Ron lacked his genuine humour and strong friendship with Harry.
The characters just weren’t the same, and as I read the Cursed Child I couldn’t help feeling like I was reading a badly written fan fiction!!
Thank you so much Nilou for another incredibly well written review, reading this made me feel much better knowing other people feel the same way 😂
Looking forward to hearing Alex’s opinion!

    1. Thanks so much Lily for reading our review and providing your opinion on this book! It’s always great to hear from others, especially when it is such a debated book, like this one.
I do agree with you regarding the almost “fake”, annoying, frustrating and unrealistic relations between some of the characters. It was so sad to see people that I loved so much become like this…
And trust me, after reading many reviews on this final Harry Potter book, I have to admit to you that we are not the only ones that feel like this. In fact, the rest of the world have had many similar thoughts and opinions.
And to be honest with you, I reckon fan fiction would have been better 😔
Thanks again for commenting Lily, it is very valuable to us both!
And as for Alex, he says “I dunno if I want to read this book after all I’ve heard about it…”
But as any good Harry Potter fan would do, I reassured him and told him that even if it wasn’t the best, you still have to read it as it is a huge part of the story that you cannot be left in the dark about.
      xoxo

  2. I loved your honest comment Nilou, and above all the care you took in explaining why, this book didn’t live up to your right expectations!!👍

  3. Thank you so much! It is very heartwarming to receive comments like this! ❤️
And yes, I think it is very important to address your audience and explain to them very clearly the aspects of the book that you didn’t like. Thanks again Tante Tina!
